Hello, Mr. Ortmann. I am interested in carrying on with the www.personaldefenceweapons.com project. My interest in PDW's and machinepistols is unsurpassed. Please contact me to discuss how to do so. Thank you for many hours of reading your website! Take care.
Chris

The website will disappear in a few days.
Sorry, but I simply lost interest in PDWs and got quite angry at the provider for several reasons.

Maybe anybody wants to take over - I could give the project file to him any time.

Stoll joined the development of the Steyr AUG.

The bullet should be later made of steel with some molykote on it and the case out of laquered steel. The cheapest possible solution for the ammunition with a simple blowback SMG. The cartidge is quite long with a length of 50 mm. But early AUG designs show a UZI-style magazine although the 5.56x45 mm is 55 mm long. Maybe a little optimistic for smaller soldiers. The 9x19 mm for example is 30 mm long and even the 4.6x30 mm is only 38,5 mm.

The first prototype was a modified UZI, but later developments at Steyr Mannlicher lead to the Steyr MP69, after the .30 Stoll project was already finished.

case, but a bit slower. Makes perfect sense, if you want to control the amount of ammunition the police got. Because the Indonesian police is the only user. Everybody else would use the cheaper .30 Carbine with the more available .30 M1 Carbines.

The .30 Stoll (Named after the Austrian Colonel Walter Stoll)

The ammunition resembles a .30 Carbine proof cartridge with it's spitzer bullet and was highly possible derived from it. The concept was to replace the Stg. 58 (FN FAL) with a UZI-like SMG in .30 Stoll up to 200 m and use a MG and Sniper rifle up to 1000 m. The project was abandoned with the rise of the 5.56x45 and Colonel

… another 7.62x25mm Tokarev – copy, like the 7.92x24mm. Not bad, but nothing special.

(not to confuse with the Czech cartridge of the same name) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/7.62x45mm_vz._5-2
It's rather a very long .30 Carbine that should fit longer magazines (almost the same length as the 5.56x45mm). The same 7 g bullet in a longer
